Ruth Kaplan, DPT

Ruth Kaplan grew up in Western Massachusetts and moved to New Jersey in 2001. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, New York. She has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in various rehabilitation settings. Ruth has pursued continuing education in several areas with a particular interest in manual therapy. Her primary specialty is outpatient orthopedics, including treatment of back and neck pain, joint pain, postural dysfunction, ergonomics, fall prevention, gait/balance disorders, decreased functional mobility, and general clinical practice. She is an active member of the following professional organizations:
Jennifer Ottes, PT
Jen graduated from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, where she received a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2000. Since that time, she has worked in a wide range of settings, including acute care, aquatics, inpatient rehabilitation, and home-care, but has specialized in outpatient orthopedics and sports injury rehabilitation since 2002. Jen continues her professional education with continuing education courses, including the Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping, and various manual therapy courses. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling.
Palak Panchal, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Palak earned a B.S in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and graduated with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Essex County College in 2014. Her clinical background includes posts in sub-acute, skilled nursing, and orthopedic outpatient settings.
Palak is determined to bring any patient back to a life of pain-free functionality using techniques such as myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, IASTM using Graston tools, or a theragun for a deeper muscle release. She takes a holistic approach when working with patients, and uncovers how a patient’s environment, mental health, nutrition, and other factors might be affecting their physical recovery. Palak enjoys learning about new treatment techniques and any emerging trends in the physical therapy field. She is also certified in Jikiden Reiki Energy Healing.
In her free time, Palak spends time with family and friends, stays active through hiking and yoga, and goes to the gym. She also loves learning about wine, meditation, dancing, reading, and movies.
Jill Rea, PT
Jill graduated from Boston University in Boston, MA where she received a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home-care, and outpatient orthopedics. Jill has extensive experience in treating geriatrics, vestibular and balance disorders, orthopedic injury, and holds an LSVT BIg certification for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. In her spare time, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, singing, and running.
Certified Medical Biller
Evelenia is a graduate of New York School for Medical Assistants and Administrators. She has over 20 years of experience as a Certified Medical Biller dealing with Medicare/Medicare Secondary and most commercial health insurance companies. She keeps informed with all the insurance policy changes, which occur often in the insurance world. She is pleasant and smart, and her knowledge translates well into her ability to communicate with each patient and their specific health care plan so the necessary treatment can be given without bureaucratic interference.
Kobi is our medical secretary: she processes patient information, manages the office database and patient records, and plays a significant role in organizing the office schedule. She grew up in Princeton and is a graduate of Emory University. She is proficient in conversational Spanish and spent a year in Madrid teaching English. Her hobbies include collaborative storytelling and crochet!
Christina Montgomery has been working as an aide at Progression Physical Therapy since 2016. She is a student at Kean University, and is working towards her B.S. in Biology. She is energetic and friendly. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking and rock climbing.
Zach is 23 years old, a graduate of Mercer Community College, and a dedicated ultimate frisbee player and rock climber: “I was first introduced to physical therapy as a patient (refer back to ultimate frisbee player) and am now happily working on the other side of the desk trying to help others get achieve recovery”.
