Ruth Kaplan, DPT

Ruth Kaplan grew up in Western Massachusetts and moved to New Jersey in 2001. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from the Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, New York. She has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in various rehabilitation settings. Ruth has pursued continuing education in several areas with a particular interest in manual therapy. Her primary specialty is outpatient orthopedics, including treatment of back and neck pain, joint pain, postural dysfunction, ergonomics, fall prevention, gait/balance disorders, decreased functional mobility, and general clinical practice. Patrick Trinidad

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Patrick graduated from Rutgers University Physical Therapy program in 2021 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Patrick utilizes evidence-based practices for all orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, offering his expertise to individuals whose goals may be to recover from orthopedic injury or surgery, elevate their fitness, or optimize their sports performance.

Prior to working at Progression Physical Therapy, Patrick was affiliated with the University Hospital in Newark, NJ, and Robert Wood Johnson in Somerville NJ. Patrick has an extensive background in various musculoskeletal conditions including rotator cuff repairs, ankle reconstructions, and ACL/meniscus repairs. As a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), Patrick genuinely believes that exercise is medicine. 
Patrick was born and raised in Somerville, NJ. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball, work out, and go for long walks. 

Rodine Borja

Physical Therapist

He received a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 2018 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2020, both from Seton Hall University. He has clinical experience in acute care, subacute rehab, home care, and outpatient orthopedic settings. He is passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life achieve their physical goals and recover from their injuries. In his spare time, Rodine enjoys reading, working out, hiking, and he loves playing basketball

 

Chrissy Montgomery

Physical Therapy Aide

Chrissy has been with Progression Physical Therapy for 6 years and we could not run without her! She is a recent graduate of Kean University and is currently deciding whether to apply to Physical or Occupational Therapy school. Chrissy enjoys running, working out, hiking, her family, and her dogs!

Evelinia Popa

Certified Medical Biller

Evelinia is a graduate of New York School for Medical Assistants and Administrators. She has over 25 years of experience as a Certified Medical Biller dealing with Medicare/Medicare Secondary and most commercial health insurance companies. She keeps informed with all the insurance policy changes, which occur often in the insurance world. She is pleasant and smart, and her knowledge translates well into her ability to communicate with each patient and their specific health care plan so the necessary treatment can be given without bureaucratic interference.
