Spinal Rehabilitation

We are experts in back care, and regularly treat several types of spinal conditions including lumbar and cervical stenosis, pinched nerves, disk derangements, spondylolisthesis, facet joint dysfunction, osteoporosis and compression fractures, coccyx pain, sciatica, radiculopathy, poor posture, and post back or neck surgery recoveries.

Spinal conditions have a range of complexity. Depending on the patient’s spinal condition, we will work with individuals to establish the most appropriate evidence-based protocol to ensure maximal healing.

How do we treat

spinal conditions?

It is important to perform manual therapy techniques when treating spinal conditions. Manual therapy is essential to improve the elasticity of muscles and soft tissue, break up scar tissue, relieve myofascial and muscle pain, and improve overall muscle flexibility. Our therapists will also offer patients additional modalities for pain management, as well as an individually tailored exercise program. Finally, our team will provide a comprehensive education for patients regarding their specific spinal condition, including postural corrections, bending and lifting techniques, and other ergonomic remediations.
